01 — Overview

Avios (IAG) was running on an ageing, inconsistent Sketch component library spread across multiple brands, with no single source of truth. That made components hard to maintain, slowed teams down, and meant design patterns drifted apart the more the reward platform grew.

02 — The Approach

I worked closely with the team on the migration of the design system from Sketch to Figma. This involved rebuilding and updating components across multiple brands as part of that move, then integrating the new system into the Avios reward platform.

The car hire extras journey was one of the first flows built using the new component library, putting the updated components into use across a real customer journey.
