Countrywide owned dozens of regional estate agency brands—each needing a strong online presence, but with shared functionality behind the scenes.
I helped design a scalable, component-driven CMS template that now powers over 60 brand websites, allowing each one to feel local and distinct while running on a centralised system that’s easy to maintain.
Countrywide’s collection of estate agency brands had grown over time—each with its own website, CMS setup, and design quirks.
This made updates time-consuming and inconsistent, with duplicated work and a growing gap between design and development. They needed a way to streamline the design and build process without flattening brand identity.
I designed a component-based UI system that could flex to fit the needs of over 60 brands—without starting from scratch each time.
Each site used the same set of core layouts and modules, styled through brand-specific themes. The result: faster launches, cleaner code, and consistent UX across the network.
Designs were built with reusability in mind—modular, responsive, and CMS-ready—so content editors could tailor sites without needing design intervention.
The new framework gave Countrywide a way to manage dozens of brand websites from a single system—without compromising design integrity or user experience. Sites became easier to maintain, and the team could focus on improving content and conversion, not patching templates.
