I had the pleasure of managing John, and I can confidently say he's one of the most driven and dependable team members I've worked with. From day one, John brought a high level of organisation and initiative to the team.
He constantly demonstrated strong ownership over his work and was a true self-starter who needed little direction to make a big impact. John played a key role in leading the development of our web and web app design system, collaborating seamlessly across cross functional teams including product, design and engineering.

John's methodical approach to creating our Horizon design system has been instrumental in establishing a new way of working at E.ON Next.

I've had the pleasure of working with John a number of times, most recently at E.ON Next where he joined me on a project to deliver a complex design system.
John knows what works well and what doesn't, and with his experience across multiple industries spanning many years would be a great asset to any product team.

I worked closely with John on various Digital projects at Countrywide.
John is fantastic at coming up with novel web designs for business problems based on his own experience in UI/UX design and using User Research and Data to increment and improve the designs produced.
John was also responsible with the production of prototypes which were later used in both User Research testing and showcasing to stakeholders in order to obtain support and feedback for the designs which helped tremendously with getting designs into production.
John is very proficient in using Adobe XD as a design and prototyping tool as well as working closely with developers and testers when the designs are going through development to help triage issues or provide walkthrough's and demo's to help create a greater shared understanding of the vision.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed working with John and would happily recommend John to others.

John demonstrated his cool, calm approach to resolving problems and design issues, based on very little direction and a brief that evolved over time and with input that reflected several conflicting perspectives. Despite this challenge, somehow he managed to make sense of it all and subtly provided clarity when it was needed. More critically, he remained completely objective, which really helped with managing a wide range of stakeholders.
This was a difficult balancing act - but he managed to very tenaciously produce an output and a way forward, where others would have given up. I enjoyed working with John, he was focused and unwavering in his efforts to deliver and that kind of sincerity is always good to be around. Thanks John!
